Captain Yasuhiro Sensui

Captain Sensui has almost 50 years of experience in the industry. He commenced his sea-going career in 1969 with Sanko Line on a wide range of vessels from crude tankers, bulk carriers, car and log carriers serving through to the rank of Master by 1979.

He transferred ashore in 1979 as Marine and Technical Superintendent and then became Marine and Hull Engineer for tanker and dry bulk new building projects. He spent 5 years as General Manager and Chief Port Captain in Sanko’s New York office before retiring after 35 years service with Sanko Line in 2004. In the same year he established the Marine Consultancy service G.M.S. Japan LLC for representation and advice and QI services in the USA. In July 2010 GMS Japan was appointed as ASP’s official Representative in Japan
